Fun Class

We had gone over the population pyramids and what they mean. If the number are at the bottom and in the middle then the population will grow and if the numbers are at the top then then the population will decrease because all the people have already passed through the age when people have children.

If the 1950's its right after World War 2 so a baby boom is in effect. Then people are having 5 or 6 children and as the years go on people are waiting longer to have kids women are having children after the age of 24 and even later so then the number of children they have have gone down. And ow that women are having children later and they are not having as many they population will indeed decrease. 

World Stats

The class had gone over different world stats. I had gone over the stats of Russia. Russia had some of the lowest stats for people infected with the hiv/aids then people in African countries. The highest is Swaziland. Swaziland has the highest amount of people infected with aids and they are the 11th for deaths by hiv/aids. The #1 foe deaths is south africa.

Class as usual

We had gone over the other the test again with the people that weren't there the first time and we also had gone over the answers a little more in depth this time. We had talked about what Socrates had said at his trial and at his execution. He had not denied that he had done all the things he was being charged for which was corrupting the minds of the young and disrespecting the gods. When he was to be put to death his friends had set up a plan to let him out but he believed that the democracy that Athens had was best if the people wanted him to die then he was to die.

Check over

We had gone over the test we took and we had made fun of Cody for messing up the high average we were going to have and we all laughed at some of the mean things you had said to him. We all cared for Cody. The best part was that if we got above a 90% then you rang a bell and if not they didn't get a bell rung. Then Mr. Schick had gone over and we had clapped for every one who got all 60 points for the multiple choice answers. Then we had gone over the right answers to each of the questions and to most of the short answer questions. 

New Unit

We had gotten are selves introduced to the new unit and all the new vocabulary. We had gotten are selves into the new unit we had learned what the new unit was about. We had learned that the new unit is about migration and about the population of the world and how it has changed over the last 10 thousand years and how the population has changed by billions and over the last 2 billion people born the number of years that it has happened has leveled out they had both grown 1 billion every 12 years.

The Test

The test was easy I thought i was going to be harder but it wasn't I had studied all of my notes my blogs and all the links we had and I had put all my notes in to my blog . That had helped with spelling there are some things that I put into my blog that I have no clue how to spell like Celithens if that was not in my blog i would have spelled it like Calithans and that is total wrong. Then the question about Socrates I had put how he died and what his method was. The one thing I forgot was what he was accused for which was corrupting the minds of the young and disbelief in the gods and he died by hemlock poison which was force suicide.  

Study Day

Message to Garcia is about a man that does not ask questions about what he is doing he just does it but most people have to ask questions like why do I have to do it how do I do it. Socrates was a philosopher that had laid the foundation for modern philosophy and died of force suicide by hemlock poison. To the memory of all the lost ones

We had to stop and try to remember the horrible thing that had happened 13 years a go. Most of my generation does not remember the plane crashes and the twin towers falling. For those who remember the incident that had shocked them most people though something like that could never happen, and people thought that we need to get the people that did this but that just put us in this war that we have been fight for 13 years. This war has costed America a lot of money and it has costed us the lives of thousands. There are thousands of people that lost there lives between the crash and the war the numbers grow every day we are in there environment and they know the land and they know the routes of the humvee's and they are killing soldiers as they go back to base. They are also killing women and children that come in contact with the army. 

Class

We had gotten are new seats and then we talked about things some people didn't know like for every 1 in a million in China there are 1,300 that means there are 1,300,000,000 people that live in China. We had also learned that 25% of India's population with the highest IQ is greater then the United States population. Which means that there are just more people in India then there is in the United States.  The Department of Labor estimates that all the learners will have 10-14 jobs by the age of 38. Also in today's society 1 in 8 coupes meet online and that is how some people end up dead or abducted by people they meet online and that is how cops get these sickos that are hooking up with teens police pose as a teen age girl and talk them in to meeting then they arrest the guy for trying to hook up with a minor.  

Hitler

We had talked about how Hitler was not accepted into art school. Maybe if he was accepted to art school then he wouldn't have killed all the Jews and saved the lives of millions of innocent people that were killed in the cross fire. Hitler was a man that had Napoleonic temper and that's what sent Hitler into his killing rage people believe. If Hitler had tried to control his temper then he would haven't killed all the people he did. 

Half hour conversation

We had talked about the Agora for a half hour we had learned that it was the main voting place for the community and how people would get up on this big rock where art of it was knocked off and that's where they stood and voiced their opinion to the community. Then someone else would step up and say what they had to say then they just had a discussion on the topic at hand like if they needed a road built then people would step up and say what they had to say then vote they had rocks and that's how they voted white rocks for yes and black for no. Then they would dump out what ever they put them in and count them up and if you did not care about politics then you were considered an idiot in society.Then we also talked about Socrates and his method.

Greece 508 BC

Agora was a place where people meet to have meetings like a town hall or a town square. Arete is the goddess of valor and excallence. Polis means city in Greek. The year 508 BC the celithens grants full rights to all free men of Athens. Socrates was a famous philosopher who layed the foundation for modern western philosophy. The death of Socrates was a forced suicide, Hemlock poisoning. Socrates method was not to give answers but to give questions. Idiots in Greece were people not interersted in polotics.
